James Daly, captain: Raised on Earth. Early career in Earth military, where he achieved a rank of Corporal. After release hired as a security guard by Korlei Biotech Inc. Placed in the Trevayne Research Center located on Regula, where he met Ari Keller. Quit his position in summer of 2235 after Earth government agents execute Company scientists working on a top-secret project he is in charge of guarding. Was said to have joined the Regulan resistance movement, and was seen at the Battle of Trevayne. Re-hired by Korlei Biotech in December as research and retrieval ground scout. In 2250 is given command of the research vessel CSS Titans. Dedicated, loyal to those he considers friends.

Ari Keller, executive officer: Raised on Regula. Parents became refugees in 2225 due to the Outer Colonies' Breakaway. Emigrated on the transport Deimos, and spent the ensuing years travelling the spacelanes with friends and family. Returned to Regula after the first Breakaway was quelled. Hired as a security guard by Korlei Biotech. Placed on the Trevayne Research Center located on Regula, where she met Jim Daly. Quit her position in summer of 2235 after Earth agents execute Company scientists working on a top-secret project she is assigned to guard. Was said to have joined the Regulan resistance movement, and was seen at the Battle of Trevayne. Re-hired in December as research and retrieval ground scout. In 2250 is assigned to be direct executive officer of the research vessel CSS Titans under the command of Jim Daly.

Natalie Mar, ship officer: Responsible for ship operations. Native of Arisia, a Breakaway Colony. In her late twenties, she is

Reginald Lee, Zulu team member: Recent hire, rather green, on his second mission. Good with machinery. In his early twenties, he's the youngest of the group.

Kaheel, Zulu team member: Alien. Native of Calder. Longtime Korlei employee. Emigrated to Earth, to find himself unemployable. Joined the military in 2235. Suffered the loss of his wife and child to a Vai attack. Subsequently included in a top-secret mission (said to have been directed at Vai space) headed by Dr. Lynn Chenei, and hired at the end of his term in the military as a scout for Korlei Biotech. Katharine Henderson, Alpha team leader: A loyal Korlei veteran and standby, Henderson grew up the daughter of the renowned government geneticist David Henderson. Moments before his dissappearance, she was given a small glass vial filled with a green substance, which she has kept on a chain around her neck for years afterward. Currently seeking an answer to the question of her father's dissappearance. She's strong, tomboyish, and very beautiful, capable, and intelligent.

Lynn Chenei, M.D, Ph.D., research director: One of the age's most eminent intellectuals, Chenei was said to have carried the leading role in the Vai Offensive, and is a genius geneticist. For the past ten years, she has worked for Korlei Biotech as an assistant research director. She's in her mid- to late-forties.
